About Polpresa Press

Polpresa Press is a new independent publisher based in London producing books of general cultural interest. We launched in 2011 with David's Box - The Journals and Letters of a Man Diagnosed as Schizophrenic, 1960-1971 (edited by Richard Hallam and Michael Bender). This book is revealing of past mental health practices but also contains many messages that are relevant to social policy today (see the page on this website).

Our list will grow slowly with books of topical interest in the area of society, politics, and the arts.
